Today's musical journey sent me to Nigeria and now I have transitioned to Haiti. I love live music, especially to dance Kompa in a place where all you and your partner can do is dance in your 'one tile' space...it's so intimate, a beautiful way to connect with love. Dancing is another creative and fun way to incorporate (1) Physical Touch and (2) Quality Time.
Some of these live Kompa songs can extend for 45 minutes or longer, yes one song; but with the right partner the set is never too long, nor do you feel tired or do your feet hurt (even while wearing 6" heels *blush*). Instead, you and your partner are totally immersed in the moment, having heart conversations with no words.
This is a wonderful analogy for romantic partnerships as well...the right partner makes all the difference.
My heart felt intention is that each of you open your hearts in order to recognize, connect and cultivate a beautiful love space with the partner that is meant for you. You must make room for love by removing the muck. Muck is a blockage and hinders your ability to recognize, receive and reciprocate love.
For my loves who have already partnered with their loves, I implore you to continue to nurture this space daily, do not take it for granted, do not allow it to become mundane. Love is a living entity, a garden, that is always growing but it requires action on your part. Prune any and everything that threatens the quality of your garden (laziness, complaining, poor communication, selfishness, deceit, anger, resentment, blaming, animosity, etc).
Dance together my loves. Dance in the kitchen, in the living room, in the parking lot, in the grocery store...dance, love is your song. -Misha N. Granado
