On this Together Thursday, we implore you and your love to slow down, disconnect from your gadgets and travel down memory lane to the beginning.

When did you first become aware of each other?
What was the initial meeting like?
Do you remember the locations, scents, sounds, attire, etc?
What were your thoughts after the first meeting?
When did you know that he/she was the one?
Which qualities made you weak in the knees and make your heart flutter?

If you have pictures from the very beginning of your relationship, we suggest that both parties individually select their favorite picture of their Significant Other (without discussing it with each other). The picture can be solo, or have other people in it. Select a picture that has strong memories associated with it. Together, travel down memory lane, exchange pictures and articulate the reasons why it was selected. Sometimes we need to slow down and remember why we embarked on this love #journey.
